Homeopathy

Homeopathy is considered to be an alternative medicine; it is used worldwide by over 200 million people on a regular basis (1), with very good results. It was re-discovered in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann. I say re-discovered because, as we may see in this analysis and with the help of Greek researchers, Hippocrates had a lot in common with the Homeopathic philosophy.

Hippocrates was a Greek physician, also referred as the father of medicine and author of the Hippocratic Oath, an oath that every doctor must take to practice medicine (but that they so easily forget…). He lived in the island of Kos, in Greece, from 460 to 370 BC (2).

He took into consideration the temperament or composition of the individual, not only the body but also the personality. Also, he did not concentrate on the  sick organ , but on the total of organs, body and spirit of the individual.  Homeopathy, also, is a holistic therapy that looks at the person as a whole. This means it looks at emotional, physical and mental illness together. This is because homeopaths believe the mind and body are linked, so you cannot address one part of the body without affecting the whole. This is the first similarity and maybe the first inspiration that Hahnemann took from Hippocrates or maybe they had exactly the same opinion. (3)

The Hippocratic method used two principles: “The against /the “similar”.  Modern medicine uses the “against” …that means giving something “against “disease or symptom. Homeopathy uses the “similar”; Hahnemann conceived of homeopathy while translating a medical treatise by the Scottish physician and chemist William Cullen into German. Being skeptical of Cullen’s theory concerning cinchona’s use for curing malaria, Hahnemann ingested some bark specifically to investigate what would happen. He experienced fever, shivering and joint pain: symptoms similar to those of malaria itself. From this, Hahnemann came to believe that all effective drugs produce symptoms in healthy individuals similar to those of the diseases that they treat, in accord with the “law of similars” that had been proposed by Hippocrates.  This led to the name “homeopathy”, which comes from the Greek: ὅμοιος hómoios, “-like” and πάθος pathos, “suffering/feeling”. Working on the theory that ‘like cures like’; the treatment involves highly diluted substances. The aim of this is to trigger the body’s natural healing system. Looking at every patient as an individual, homeopathy takes a variety of factors into consideration.

Homeopathy is used worldwide in humans, animals and plants. In my interview with Brazilian veterinarian doctor and medium Dr Denise Ullmann, she told me of her choice of changing from a classical veterinary doctor into a holistic one.  She realized she was not fulfilling her oath as a medical veterinary and decided to study homeopathy as a treatment for animals. After she finished her studies, she started asking herself again: “If we are part in a whole, so the humans in the animal family, are also part of the animal’s life. I used to see the humans suffering and I could not prescribe homeopathy to them, as I was a veterinary.” She was very happy with the positive results that homeopathy was giving her animal patients but all she could do was advise the human family of the animals. This advice, with personnel talks and support offered by this kind veterinarian was precious for these humans and she realized that, sometimes, with a single dose of a homeopathic medicine, their frequency was changing. Yes, because medicine as everything in the universe has a certain frequency. She was amazed to see that humans as animals had fantastic results with homeopathy.  I used the opportunity to see if she agreed with me that Hahnemann was not the “inventor” of homeopathy and Denise believes that he “channeled” this holy method, seeing that this homeopathic diluted product and strengthened (In homeopathy, homeopathic dilution (known by practitioners as “dynamisation” or “potentisation”) is a process in which a substance is diluted with alcohol or distilled water and then vigorously shaken in a process called “succussion”), was working. She told me that Hahnemann had a lot of helpers and he started testing diluted substances, giving to his helpers and writing down the results; he started realizing that there were “patterns” of bodily and psychological responses that kept repeating itself. Hahnemann started observing different kinds of people and wrote a huge hierarchy of “symptoms”, from mental, psychological until the physical symptoms. He also wrote notes on the results of every “homeopathic remedy”.  As such the first edition of “Materia Medica pura” consists of 6 volumes with pathogenesis of 61 drugs. These were published during the period from 1811 to 1821. The second augmented edition with the drug pathogenesis of 64 drug was (six volumes) during 1822 to 1827.

Homeopathy is always researching and approving new Homeopathic remedies and Dr Denise is always studying other authors, others “Materia medica”. In every consultation, there are specific questions to be asked to the being that came for the therapy. Dr Denise told me that there are books that specify the questions to be done in the first interview, what kind of questions and how interpret the answers. Everything can be listed under the category: symptom, from the time the person wakes up, the actions, the thoughts and the feelings; everything that is part of the conscience of the being.  As the interview is the most important part of the treatment, Dr Denise felt that, in respect with her animal patients, she would need to understand them better, so she took a course in animal Communication with professional Animal Communicator Sheila Waligora (from Brazil), so she could understand them better.

She uses Homeopathy for herself and her family. Dr Denise believes that Homeopathy is discredited, in many places, because it takes some time to act and normally, humans want results for “yesterday”. Also, many times, with Homeopathy, in the beginning, the symptoms are exacerbated before they diminish and disappear.  She understands that the humans who bring their animal for treatment are in a hurry because an animal does not live as long as a human, their life is shorter than ours and we do want to spend as much time with our fur-babies as we can.

Many governments tried and try to criticize and take Homeopathy down. It is not as expensive and maybe lucrative as “big farma” wishes . She told me that Australia tried to forbid Homeopathy. Unfortunately human, animal and plant  health became a business, a lucrative business.  It is the power of money:”nobody wants you to get better, it is better for the industry that you keep sick and dependent”. We remembered the time that our ancestral were using plants as a tea or a tincture as therapy.

Dr Denise Ullmann uses Homeopathy and other holistic therapies as her Quantum “tool-kit”: Homeopathy, floral remedies, Homotoxicology, Reiki, Isotherapy, chromo-therapy, Cristal-therapy, and EFT.

We, beings of light and frequency,  possess the most perfect “machine” in the world…the body. Humans, animals and plants are perfect, with perfect immune systems. Nature offers us a holistic approach in therapy and healing.  It is time for us, to go back on the steps of our ancestrals, to go back to nature, natural ways of life.  Disease is not scary; disease is telling us that something in our life-style is wrong, time to hear our body and heal our spirit.  Let’s give back to nature the beautiful planet that God/ the Universe gave to us.
