After the death of my father, it took me a lot of time to start writing again; it seems that time speeded up and it became a rare good, hard to grasp. But, for my students and clients, I had to try to explain the unexplainable: there are no limitations, no space and no time. The universe is infinite.

Around 375 Before Christ, Plato wrote “the Republic”; “The Republic” includes the Allegory of the Cave, with which Plato explains his Theory of Ideas. The current state of man, due to illiteracy, can be perfectly represented by the famous myth of the cave narrated by Plato, at the beginning of the seventh book of his Republic. The allegory of the cave tells us the story of human beings living in a cave and seeing just the shadows of the outside world, thinking there are monsters outside; it translates a situation where we live, right now, limited by our five senses, believing that only the material world matters. But we are surrounded by other ethereal, spiritual, astral levels…Infinite levels. Nowadays, the only person I have read that speak about different planes of existence is Daskalos, or Stylianos Atteshlis.
Daskalos
Stylianos Atteshlis (1912–1995) was a Greek Cypriot mystic and healer who was born on December 12, 1912 in Cyprus where he spent most of his life. He was a mystic from Strovolos, Cyprus. Educated in Cyprus and abroad, he pursued a career in the Cyprus Government printing office, but he also spent some years in Africa. For seventy years he had been teaching, trying to wake people out of their spiritual slumber. He was always ready to help and heal wherever and whenever was needed. In the early 1990’s worldwide public recognition of Dr. Atteshlis (aka Daskalos) grew and students began coming to hear his free public Stoa lectures in Strovolos.
He set up the circle, “The Researchers of Truth.” The series of books which have been published are based on practice and meditation of Atteshlis (Daskalos). Daskalos is the Greek word for teacher.(1). The aim of his group is to free human beings from illusions, to find the real self and express it, to remember who and what we are.
It is important to know how he calls some different levels: Daskalos call psychic world: the fourth dimension. Within the psychic world, space is transcended, and Noetic world is the fifth dimension. Within the Noetic world space as well as time is transcended.
In his book , “words of truth”, he reminds us that we are living in a human material body (pg 38) and “that this body is governed by laws- all the laws and all the Universes are governed by laws” (pg 43).
Kiriakos Markides , a Greek-Cypriot sociologist living in the United states has written many books about Daskalos and their conversations about the Universe and different planes of existence,relates many of these encounters and teachings.
In the book: “Fire in the heart”(2) written in 1987, he relates a day when Daskalos claims that there are worlds within worlds and that all the worlds are different in terms of their vibrational Frequencies.(page 15) He mentions that the material world seems solid to us and that is because we vibrate at the same Frequency- This is something that Quantum physics has proven with the discovery of Quanta, these particles that vibrate and that form everything, from humans to tables. If we remember Hermeticism from my article written in 2023, this science of ancient times had already said that everything vibrates. Is it a coincidence that the ancient populations knew how the Universe was formed? The existence of Ether? Astrology?

Continuing their meetings, Daskalos explains to Professor Markides that the humans are multidimensional beings. We might ask ourselves why the scholars of that time denied the possibility that plants and animals were in the same level as humans, with a conscience and intelligence; but we cannot forget that everyone is susceptible to his or her education system. We are conditioned to believe we are the “superior race”. In his case, animals were not considered conscious, at those meetings.
Daskalos affirms that our mission in life is the awakening of our lower self into our divine origin; “Our descent into the lower worlds and the start of incarnation cycles in reality meant the entrapment of our divine self (Pneuma) into a state of ignorance” (page 18)
In the page 31 of the same book, Daskalos speaks about the Psychonoetic worlds (where the psychic and the Noetic levels interpenetrate). Each level seems to have different levels and so it goes till the infinite. The lowest levels of the psychonoetic world seem to be similar to the “Umbral” of Kardexist Spiritism where souls who are too attached to the material level or have low consciousness and did not develop yet, seem to go, after the death passage. The first scenes of the movie “Nosso Lar (“Astral City” in English ) depicts this level of existence.

Does heaven and hell exist?
Well Bruce Lipton(3 ) and Linda Tellington Jones ( 4 ) in an incredible association, are trying to bring heaven back to earth. They grasped the subtlety that we create our heaven or hell and that what we can see in the movie “Astral City”; being in the material level or the spiritual level, we, through the law of free choice, choose how we want to live and where, heaven or hell. And that is what Daskalos try to convey to Dr Markides, too:” But it is not easy to help this human, when he himself is unwilling to move out of his own hell”. relating to a friend of his. (Page 31)
The nature of the boundaries through various dimensions
During his classes, Daskalos answered various questions from his students.
One of his students, called Stefanos had asked him about the nature of the boundaries between the various dimensions and Daskalos explained:” the boundaries between the various planes and sub-planes of the psychonoetic world are a question of vibration and harmonizing your consciousness with those vibrations.” And he gives the example of tuning a radio into different stations. (Page 35) “The higher you ascend in the vibrations, the freer you become from material obsessions; they are the chains that keep you bound.” (Page 45)
These are not new ideas ; for years native Americans, South Americans, Australian and world Shamans can go into a trance to become a vehicle bridging the gap between the world of ordinary consciousness and that of other worlds/planes /dimensions. Our distancing from our elders and ancestors are putting humanity in a “stupor” comparable to the matrix in Plato’s cave.
Mystics and Shamans , time and space
Daskalos’ helper and best student, Kostas, explains about time and space, too.” the mystic can enter inside the psychic worlds any time he or she wishes through “super-consciousness” without closing the doors of perception to experiences that are taking place into the gross material world, he moves beyond time and space”. “Time and space are understandable realities within the gross material Universe as well as within the psychic and Noetic dimensions” (Page 100)
Daskalos speak about space in a good humored way in page 51 of the same book:” What do you think space is ? You know the dimensions of this room, that we are in, at this moment and you call it space. But before you can blink your eyes, you are thousands of miles beyond this space since the earth is in constant motion. And the earth, along with the sun move inside the galaxy, which in turn moves with unimaginable speed within the infinity of space. So which space are you talking about when you refer to the space in a room? You see, in the final analysis space as such is the idea is the idea of space you possess in your mind”.
In other words, we go back to Hermeticism, with its first law: All is mind.
The numbers are infinite
Daskalos used to teach that the psychic worlds are made up of seven major planes and that each plane have within it seven sub-planes, that the lowest planes could be compared to the hell of Catholic church and the plane above those, would be comparable to the purgatory, of Christianity, but, by the end of his life, during his astral travels , he began to uncover different planes , like Robert Monroe (5 ). He says so by the end of Dr Markides book:” My dear, you must realize that the total number of planes and sub-planes of the psychic world is not 49, they are much more than you imagine, there are finer subdivisions”.
Markides, then, asks him where we can travel to and if there are limitations and Daskalos answers: “Limitations? There are no such things”.
