About 4 years ago, I stumbled upon a video, on YouTube about Anna Breytenbach and a black leopard called Spirit. The video was the true story of a South African Animal Communicator who could talk to animals and solved the problem of a wildlife sanctuary (Jukani) in South Africa.( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvwHHMEDdT0) . The story brought back to my mind a documentary I had seen, years ago in Paris, while watching ARTE channel- of a woman, in California who could speak to animals. I became mesmerized with the finding and vowed to myself to become, me too, an animal communicator.
For an animal lover, like me, communicating with animals was the epitome of my dreams…something that I might have done, years ago, as a child and I had forgotten. I did not dare to tell my findings to anyone, in fear they would call me crazy or naïve and I kept looking around for courses or seminars.
On 2014, I traveled to Holland to take a weekend course with Helen Da Vita ( http://www.helendavita.com/) the British medium and animal Communicator. The weekend brought my busy spirit to a rest and I learned to take time to breath, relax and listen …
we can connect and communicate with all forms of life
But is Animal Communication a fruit of science-fiction or reality? Is it really possible? Let’s turn to science to answer our question:
Edgar Dean “Ed” Mitchell, the aeronautical engineer and Astronaut affirms :” Science arose as a strictly materialistic concept looking at matter, the interactions of matter, having nothing to do with mind and consciousness, until the end of the 19th century when Max Planck, Einstein and other scientists came up with Quantum Mechanics which disprove the Cartesian duality that body and mind never interact ; but ,unfortunately, we lived mostly of the 21st Century with Academic Physics hanging on to that duality.”
Buckminster Fuller wrote:’ If you want to understand the human condition, you must first, understand the Universe” Mitchell continues: “ We live in an universe that is self-organizing, intelligent , creative, trial and error, interactive, learning, participatory, interconnected, evolving…quantum system. We are part of it, we cannot be separated from it and are interconnected with it all; and that’s because we are all made out of matter, and all that matter comes out of that energy source that we call “zero point Energy field””
Anna Breytenbach asks: “what is this world that we are actually living in?” “In a building block level, we are all made of the same stuff: energy. At a Quantum level: every thought has an electromagnetic emission, every emotional feeling is energy…” “Why wouldn’t we be able to connect and communicate to all expressions of life? We are literally of the same energy.”
“We humans, having brains as we do, tend to think a lot and every thought or feeling has an electro-magnetic consequence in our brain: synapses fire, brain waves emissions …and these have a frequency that can be perceived by any other aspect of the universe that tunes into us…much like a cell phone tower or a radio tower that is constantly emitting waves. So, we too, as humans are walking through our days emitting these ways energetically and on a brain level.”
“But connecting to any other being we want to, is not just a matter of the mind, it is also a matter of the heart – the wisdom of the heart/That feeling of unconditional love and connecting through a place of kinship and recognition.”
Amelia Kinkaid, animal communicator in California asked the question:” Do animals have electromagnetic energy? Indeed they do. Can this electromagnetic energy be perceived as the thought of animals? Yes. “
“Psychic communication can be redefined through the latest and most fascinating theories that may shorten the gap between quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity—and the gap between humans and animals. Quantum Holography and the Zero Point Energy Field suggest that all living beings are able to communicate naturally, through the laws of nature. “
an ability we all have…
The story of animal communication
Although this is a capacity that every human being is able to achieve, or achieved in early childhood then to be forgotten as socialization starts, not everybody knows how to communicate with animals and we need seminars or workshops to re-learn this natural capacity.
Without any doubt, the mother/grandmother of Animal communication is Penelope Smith. She has been extremely helpful in my animal communication journey. Information about Penelope can be found in her website: ANIMAL TALK.NET.
In her own words (site):
“Communicating with animals telepathically throughout her life, Penelope Smith discovered in 1971 that animals could be relieved of emotional traumas and other problems through the same counseling techniques that helped humans. The training and experience that have contributed to her success are her educational background, with bachelors and master’s degrees in the social sciences; years of training and experience in human counseling, nutrition, and holistic body energy balancing methods; research into animal nutrition, anatomy, behavior, and care; plus the firsthand education from the thousands of animals she has contacted.
For over thirty years, Penelope has been the founding pioneer for the field whose name she originated, interspecies telepathic communication. Author of the popular classic books in the field, Animal Talk, When Animals Speak, Animals in Spirit, many audio recordings, and editor of Species Link magazine, Penelope has held the hub of the growing community of animal communicators worldwide for decades. “
“Penelope’s visionary work has been featured in newspaper and magazine articles, numerous books, and on radio and television, in the United States and abroad. She has developed tried-and-true telepathic communication techniques, which complement current scientific knowledge and traditional methods. Her methods foster people’s ability to understand and communicate with animals on many levels – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. As the world’s leading teacher of basic and advanced interspecies telepathic communication, she has helped launch the careers of numerous professional animal communicators. Penelope feels that the sacred connection we make through telepathic communication with other species is essential for human wholeness. She believes that everyone is born with the power to communicate with other species, and that, although it is long lost for most people, it can be regained for the benefit of all beings on Earth.”
Around the world, an increasingly number of people started, again, to communicate with other fellow beings , since the 70’s till now, as the new age movement helped to open up people’s minds and hearts.
On this side of the Atlantic Ocean, the most famous Communicator is, without doubt, Anna Breytenbach, my second teacher and guide.
At a structural level, we are all made of the same material, energy
According to her website (http://www.animalspirit.org/) “Anna Breytenbach is a South African-based professional animal communicator who has received advanced training through the Assisi International Animal Institute in California, USA. She’s been practicing for 14 years in South Africa, Europe and the USA with both domestic and wild animals.
Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, she holds a degree in Psychology, Economics and Marketing from the University of Cape Town. During her international corporate career that took her to Australia and then Silicon Valley and Seattle in the USA, she lived out her passion for wildlife and conservation by volunteering at various rehabilitation and educational centers.
Amongst other things she has been a cheetah handler, served on committees for wolf, snow leopard, cheetah and mountain lion conservation, volunteered at wildlife and horse sanctuaries and participated in wild wolf tracking expeditions in the Rocky Mountains. Trained in tracking and mentoring at the Wilderness Awareness School (USA), she also mentors children and adults in nature awareness based on the ways of the Native American and San Bushmen peoples.”
Why can’t we all communicate with them?
The biggest obstacles to Animal Communication are our education system and socialization- Most children are able to communicate with animals, but are ridiculed and admonished by parents and society when they reveal their capacity.
We have, also, the belief, imbued in us that we are superior and that animals can’t think for themselves, neither have a soul. In our modern society, humans are trained, only, to work and doubt any other capacity that is not accepted by the majority of the mass; thoughts like: ‘I can’t” and “I am not able” are common ground in religions and traditions across the world, restraining us to try anything that is not known and accepted.
Another obstacle to animal communication is our own prejudice and imagination- Humans see the world through a funneled lens and are incapable to see “the big picture”. Talking to animals can be refreshing and helpful, giving new amplitude to any situation. When a communication gives you an info that contradicts your own pre-conceived beliefs, then you realize that it is really happening.
In my case, my first “breakthrough” with wild animals came, during a windsurfing trip to Egypt, where, by complete coincidence, some wild dolphins came to swim and play with us, near the beach. In matter of seconds, without exchanging words, I understood what they wanted, how I should behave and the game went on for at least 45 minutes, without any of us being misunderstood or feeling aggressed- perfect harmony.
With domestic animals, I was taught to trust my instincts, by C. (a lovely Cane Corso) after my course with Helen Da Vita.
I used to work as an insurance agent, near a garage, in the South of Athens. In my way to work, I used to cross an enormous Cane Corso named C.; his size and face had made me fear him, even after his owner introduced him to me. He seemed uninterested and sleepy. One day, passing through, I decided to mentally, send him love and the message I wanted to be his friend.”Really” I heard. At this moment, he stood up, and started barking frantically, asking me to go back and be with him. Our friendship grew to the point where he would wait for me, everyday, to bring a red balloon (his favorite color) for us to play.
The future of animal communication
There are hundreds of Animal/interspecies Communicators worldwide, using telepathy to communicate with our fellow brothers and sisters animals. Seminars are held in the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, South Africa, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, etc…
Greece is still behind, but I hope to change this situation bringing international teachers to provide seminars and workshops for the Greek public. I created a Facebook page: “Animal/Interspecies Communication Greece” which anybody can join and news will be posted as soon as we have enough people interested to participate in a seminar. In the group, you can, also, ask questions or propose activities.
Animal Communication is not just a new skill, or a fad…it is a bridge, for humans to understand better the world and why we are here, in this planet.
