It is 2025, the majority of the world population has heard about reincarnation and either accepts it or not. It is comforting to know you will see your beloved human or pet, again…or not?
Slowly, Eastern concepts are infiltrating themselves into Western Culture. The Holistic/New Age community made words like: Reincarnation, Karma, Maya, popular to the general public. They are promptly adopted without the sociological frame needed. These are not independent words, they are all interconnected.Death
As Dr Stylianos Atteshlis (Daskalos)(11) once said: “We are living in a human body, with a beginning and an end”, we should see our body and the present life just as a “passage in the school of life”-something temporary. “ The material body is a body that has a beginning, consequently , what has a beginning, must have an end. From its beginning up to its end , it continuously undergoes changes.”
Death
In 2019, I wrote an article explaining that death is not the end. (1) To many Christians, this is like a blasphemy.
Let’s not forget the Fox Sisters, in 1838, talking to souls in their houses (2), the popularity of spiritualism starting in the 18th and 19th Centuries (3), the medium and healer Gordon Higginson, the Medium Emma Hardinge Britten, the famous British Mediums Helen Duncan and Estelle Roberts, the medium Maurice Barbanell channeling Silver Birch, Colin Fry and many others, without forgetting modern Mediums and spiritualists. (4); on the other side of the sea and Ocean, there was also Spiritism of Alan Kardec or Kardecist Spiritism (5) in France and South America.
Spiritualism might have started even before Christianity, if we think about the Oracle in Delphi, Pythia, who would “receive spirits “and give readings. (8)
Reincarnation
So, it was proven that death is not as the end of life, but as a passage in life. Reincarnation is the journey of the souls in another body. This is another concept brought from the Eastern Philosophy, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism (6). As usual, this concept is always seen independently of the whole theory of Karma and why there is reincarnation. I encountered: clients, students, members of my practice Facebook group and general public who believe their animal should reincarnate and should come exactly as they were in their past life. They see the material body and the material world as the most important, ignoring that we are here to develop ourselves, to become better beings and realize that the material world is temporary, and that our animals are here to teach us; they are the same as us, thay have their own lives and timelines and they are not supposed to be our property, to serve us till eternity. Our contemporary life because just a hymn to the human EGO ( me , me , me) and we only see our separateness.
In May 2025, I did a lovely interview with British Medium, researcher and healer James McQuitty, in English and Greek, who explained to us the presence of a higher self and the fact that we are Multi-dimension beings.
We reincarnate so our soul can evolve, learn lessons, develop and get into an “Oneness” with God/the creator.

What is life?
Dr Stylianos Atteshlis (Daskalos), wrote in a book (11):” Life is incomprehensible Beingness. It is and it exists. Being and existing are two different states; Being is eternal, without a beginning and without an end, in the eternal NOW. In eternity, it is always now.”
The animals made me understand that we are in this world to learn, to develop and to be better beings; to practice love and forgiveness, to help and heal. We need to expiate our bad deeds not with prayers, but with good deeds and pure feelings.
People living in a Matrix
We live in a Matrix of materialism and we give far more importance to the material world than to the spiritual world, forgetting that when we leave the earth, we will not bring with us our material possessions.
Dr Stylianos Atteshlis explains that” we perceive the material world around us the way we do because, of the five senses. The five senses, in a material body vibrate in the same range and vibration as the gross material world; but we do not have a material body, only”(11)
We have already (1) talked about the soul, animals appearing to their tutors after their passing or even talking about coming back to help the tutor; that gratifies very much their humans but they can spend a lifetime waiting for them. This is a terrible burden placed in our animals; they feel the extreme imbalance and need that their humans are carrying and the human dependence on the animal, thee need for the the animal’s presence. It reminds me of a story told by writer Stephen King , decades ago, in one of his books: ” The monkey’s paw” .
“Mr. and Mrs. White, and their grown son, Herbert, are visited by Mr Morris, a friend who served with the Army abroad. During dinner, he introduces them to a mummified monkey’s paw. He explains how an old fakir has placed a spell on the paw, so that it will grant three wishes but only with hellish consequences as punishment for tampering with fate. Morris, having had a horrible experience using the paw, throws it into the fire, but the skeptical Mr. White retrieves it. Before leaving, Morris warns Mr. White of what might happen should he use the paw. Mr. White hesitates at first, believing that he already has everything he wants. At Herbert’s suggestion, Mr. White flippantly wishes for £200, which will enable him to make the final mortgage payment for his house; he then drops the paw, saying it moved and twisted like a snake. The following day, Herbert leaves for work. That night, a representative of Herbert’s employer arrives at the Whites’ home, telling them that Herbert has been killed in a terrible accident that mutilated his body. The company denies any responsibility, but tenders a bereavement payment to the family of £200. A week after the funeral, Mrs. White, mad with grief, insists that her husband use the paw to wish Herbert back to life. Reluctantly, he does so, despite great unease at the thought of summoning his son’s mutilated and decomposing body. Later that night, there is a knock at the door. As Mrs. White fumbles at the locks in a desperate attempt to open the door, Mr. White becomes terrified and fears that the thing outside is not the son he loved. He makes his third and final wish. The knocking stops, and Mrs. White opens the door to find that no one is there.” (12)
Many times, the animal does come back incorporating into another animal already born, called “Chimera” by Anna Breytenbach or are just born again-but that does not mean they will come exactly the same. They can have different bodies and, of course, they will have different personalities because their journey WILL be different. Nothing stays the same; it is part of the natural laws, also compiled by the ancients, before Christianity, when the Egyptian God Thoth apparently wrote the Kybalion (9)
The dangers in assuming the animal will be 100% the same
I have a friend in Brazil who is studying Animal Communication with renowned Brazilian Animal Communicator Sheila Waligora. She did suffer when her dog passed but recognized, straight away, that one of her young dogs was showing behavior from the late female dog, even asking to be cleaned like the other dog and sleeping in the passed dog’s bed; overjoyed, she just assumed that the dog was 100% her passed dog…that is, until the lab Mix took a poisonous coral snake in his mouth, because he thought it as a good idea, and acting 100% like himself (a Labrador), not the diseased dog.
There is a purpose for reincarnating: we have lessons to learn, we are not perfect, but we are looking for that perfection. That perfection in Oneness, in just being, in recognizing the other as ourselves, maybe not in this plane, in this planet, but in a higher plane, in a plane where everything is perfect.
Recently passed Brazilian Medium Divaldo Franco (10) spoke about the meaning of Reincarnation, in thousands of talks, to rich and poor, in mansions, theaters and prisons. His main message was to love one another and only act out of love, to not keep expiating Karma over and over again.
The movie: “Astral City”, in Portuguese, with English subtitles explains very well the purpose of Karma, free will, Reincarnation and other concepts ignored by many. No, our animals are not coming back exactly as we wish – they are coming back to help us develop our soul and become better beings.

We will see our beloved animals, plants and humans again, when it is our time to pass and we will come back with amnesia, to try to surpass our earthly passions and obsessions. In time, we all will understand this. The animals are here to help and guide us. It is up to us to respect that and not pressure them with impossible demands. They want us to act like them- to have unconditional love towards everything, to respect our elders and to try to do good to others.
